Additionally, Coryell is facing challenges in obtaining the necessary permits to operate in high-demand areas due to personnel cuts at the National Park Service. He is also concerned about the lack of rangers on patrol, which could lead to unlicensed operators causing problems.
While Coryell has not yet had to lay off any employees, he is worried that he may have to in the future. He stated, “It’s starting to feel like we may have to put some of our operations on hold until things stabilize.”
