But Mr. Bahareth, 40, is not the only Saudi who is enamored with the American president. Mr. Trump’s visit to Saudi Arabia on Tuesday and Wednesday, the first stop of his first major foreign trip of his second term, made a big impact in the kingdom. He praised the de facto ruler, Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman, announced hundreds of billions of dollars of investment in the United States, and surprised many by declaring an end to American sanctions on Syria.
